RIXC regularly organizes Baltic–Nordic residencies for artists of the respective region who work with art, science and ecology, 2–3 months long each (selected by open and invitation call applications).

Baltic-Nordic Residency Artists (2023-2024)

RIXC Art, Science & Techo-Ecologies Residency program featuring three Art, Science and Techno-Ecologies residencies, two-month each, for Baltic and Nordic artists took place at RIXC in Riga, Latvia, during the time period from February 1, 2023 until March 31, 2024, supported by Nordic Culture Point.

Solveig Settemsdal (NO)

Ivo Tauriņš, Ieva Vīksne, Līga Vēliņa

During the RISK Change / RIXC Residency sound artist Ivo Tauriņš and media artists, Ieva Vīksne and Līga Vēliņa were recording sounds and videos, collecting data and materials for photogrammetry – to create ideas for new art projects about migration and ecological themes.
